Bodywork

Bodywork is one of my most popular modalities people ask for in my practice.

Merriam-Webster defines bodywork as “therapeutic touching or manipulation of the body by using specialized techniques.”1 In that definition, a LOT of different modalities can fall under the umbrella of bodywork. Using the term bodywork gives people a wider range of ideas of what is possible in their care, rather than simply calling my service massage therapy.

So what does bodywork look like at Stormhaven?

Below I’ve included info about my favorite tools and methods of bodywork, any of which you may find used during our session together.
